If you love sports you will love hearing Paul Finebaum talk about the up coming 2012 Football Season….predictions, speculations, you will could hear anything and everything about the upcoming season and have an opportunity to support a great cause for abused and neglected children in Jefferson County. If you’ve ever sat in your car or at home and screamed at him through your radio like he could hear you, then this will be your time ask questions or give him your opinion in person. He Will Hear You! Of course, you might not like the answer. Not only will you get the wit and questionable wisdom of the legendary Paul Finebaum, but you’ll also get an incredible lunch served up from the chefs at The Club including their famous orange rolls. So bring your friends, bring your coworkers and bring some questions. It will be a great time for a good cause.

ABUSED KIDS & THE JEFFERSON COUNTY CASA PROGRAM

CASA of Jefferson County asks you to join Mr. Finebaum in supporting our efforts to ensure that every child has a caring and supportive adult as his or her advocate in Family Court. CASA is a nonprofit network supporting and promoting court appointed volunteer advocacy for abused and neglected children. This program serves children from birth to 18 years, of all races and economic levels. CASA volunteers are appointed by a Family Court judge to investigate a specific case. These volunteers interview the children and other significant parties, in an effort to guarantee the children’s best interests. The goal is to see that every child is placed in a safe, permanent home. For many abused children, their CASA volunteer is the one constant adult presence - the one adult focused solely on them.
